Joerg Rosenthal
Born in Germany, I worked 25 years with the Volkswagen Group in the Technical and Training area. I worked first as an Industrial Mechanic and for the last ten years I worked instructing new Management trainees.
I moved to Canada in 2009 after meeting my wife. We first lived in Nova Scotia where I worked as a Marketing and Advertising specialist for an RV dealership. I created photographic works, edited and integrated English and German websites. Kijiji, Facebook, Twitter, Blogs and Forums were our advertising platforms.
We moved to Vancouver Island (to escape the snowy cold winters) and I took the opportunity to start my own Web Design and Social Media Management business.
My passions are photography and running and you may even catch me running with the camera. I value hard work and lifelong learning, so you will often find me taking courses or watching Lynda educational programs to expand my knowledge base and continue to upgrade my skills. Whatever your needs, I am up for the challenge. Ich freue mich auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Ihnen. (I look forward to working with you.)

My experience is both extensive and varied. I have a Bachelor of Business Management from Ryerson University in Toronto Canada and have worked for both the private and not-for-profit sector ever since. My career started working for a major bank in the heart of Toronto. I worked 16 years at the bank in various positions where I gained valuable experience serving customers and project management. My positions included: Customer Service Representative in a branch and Visa department, Workforce Management Analyst, Assistant Area Manager, Project Leader, and Senior Product Analyst.
After working for the bank, I launched my own Dating Events business. This means that I am not only experienced in running a business, but I also understand the challenges small business owners face. I get it … I know what you are going through, and I am here to help.
Volunteering is a big part of my life. I believe that you get out of life and community what you give into it. I have served on various non-profit Boards and was President of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley as well as President for the Mill Bay Tennis Club. I have been a Big Sister to two different young girls and I hope it has made a difference in their lives (It definitely made a difference in mine!)
I became a Virtual Assistant because I love helping people reach their goals and potential. I am an enthusiastic and creative problem solver who loves what she does. You are an expert at what you offer your clients but there is so much more involved in running the business. Let me help you. Let’s chat.
